The Corporate Sales Manager plays a crucial role in generating leads for a Business Line and managing the development of the lead to a stage where the win probability is high. The primary role of the Business Development Manager is to prospect for new clients by networking, cold calling, advertising or other means of generating interest from potential clients. They must then plan persuasive approaches and pitches that will convince potential clients to do business with the company. They must develop a rapport with new clients, and provide support that will continually improve the relationship. They are also required to grow and retain existing accounts by presenting new solutions and services to clients. Strategic planning is a key part of this job description, since it is going to develop the pipeline of new business coming in to the company. This requires a thorough knowledge of the market, the solutions/services the company can provide, and of the company’s competitors.

New Business Development

- Promoting all business lines of the company – including Landlord Representation, Investor Services, etc. – in the market
Work Relationship & Reporting
- Reporting Manager :BL Head
- Other Relationships: Transaction Managers for prospect handover (as assigned by BL Head)
Educational Background
- Tertiary qualification in sales preferred; however, focus will be on experience & skills mainly
- Real Estate related qualification will be an advantage
Key Skills, Experience and Background
- Experience of 0-4 years in sales and business development
- Specific real estate BD experience a strong plus
- Result-oriented with the aspiration & ambition to learn and excel
- Proficiency in the use of MS Office suite
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Well groomed and business like appearance at all times
- Exemplary ability to communicate clearly, logically and concisely
- Proactive desire to take on additional responsibility
